brake question

if I buy the AEM big brake kit for the front, i know that they use the oem calipers and new AEM rotors etc.

question is:

can I use the oem front discs in the back, I believe it could be done with the correct mounting brackets.... am I wrong, can this be easily done ?

BTW if this is a re-post

Green Civic is an unknown quantity at this point
I dont think so. I think red is trying to use the 2002 SI rear big disk brake kit to make rear disk brakes for his car. I think you need to talk to a mechanic more than me though.

anything can be done with money right?

The fronts are vented, the rears would be solid discs. So you'd need to somehow jimmyrig a front caliper on there to work since the rear would be smaller. It's not worth the trouble to do all that, you'd still need the calipers, which are most of the cost involved in the swap. So you might as well just do it the right way with a set of rears.

They're not the same. The fronts are vented and the rears are solid. The EX and Si front brakes are completely identical. 10.3 Vented up front, 10.2 Solid in the rear. The Rear brakes are a lot skinnier than the fronts. You need the rear disc and caliper.
