EBC Redstuff Pads are GOOD
EBC Redstuff Pads are GOOD
ok it was wierd at first getting used to the increased brake noise, but i am so glad i got these pads. I was heading to work (i was late so speeding excessively), when this rican hoe thought i needed to slow down, so she swerves over the two lanes to mine with no blinker. nearly hit her, but i mashed the brakes so hard that the tires were squealing even with my abs (EX). Of course she got beamed and all that pissed off stuff people do, but i am really thankful i got these pads. I recommend them cause once they warm up, they stop you...well.

I believe EBC pads are Kevlar metalic pads rather then Ceramic pads that came stock. metalic pads are noisier, but they are more resistant to heat and fadeing. They will probably squeak more often too.
Red Stuff
EBC semi metallic Redstuff formulation is a true asphalt race pad with medium lifetime and a friction level of about 0.3 steadily rising to 0.33 at 750oC. Redstuff is extremely kind to brake discs and can be used on highway vehicles for extreme duty use as well as on race cars.
GREEN STUFF
With a friction co-efficient of around 0.5 and high resistance to brake fade (550oC) this pad is a superb upgrade for street use cars, not requiring ABE/Red 90 Approval or light race and rally use. In competition applications, Greenstuff had been very successful with single seater cars such as Ginetta/Formula 600/Formular Ford and has a low to medium lifetime in race conditions.
Personally I am going to go with the Green stuff, They may not last as long as the Red stuff, but they grip better and they dont need to warm up. and they are good for autocross
