LKAS: How to turn it off?

LKAS: How to turn it off?
One week into the '25 ST hybrid, I must say I'm quite happy with it. Ride is smooth, acceleration is instant. In economy mode my last two trips clocked 55 and 65 mpgs.
One issue, and it's probably me. When traveling at speeds of about 40mph, and I change lanes without signaling, that damn steering assist kicks in. I have the LKAS turned off via the steering wheel button. Is there something else that needs to be done?
