Question Fog Lights and Heated Seats

I am looking at purchasing the Honda Civic Sport 2024 and heated seats and fog lights are missing so I was thinking of adding them from the EX line. Has anyone attempted to do that yet? I am not interested in getting the EX as I am not sold on the turbo technology unless someone has proof the turbos last 150K without issues

Re: Fog Lights and Heated Seats

I added fog lights to an 05, wasn't too hard.
Adding heated seats would be alot harder and more expensive. Not worth it in my opinion, and I live in Canada. Remote start is a better option

There's not a huge difference between the 10th and 11th gens as far as turbo tech goes, since they're both the L15B7 turbo engines. The biggest difference is they introduced a twin scroll turbo to the 11thgen which makes it more efficient with less turbo lag. For what it's worth, I have 76.5k on my 2018 Civic Sport Hatch (with the 1.5T) and I've had an aftermarket tune (running max 24psi boost from the stock 16.5psi, comes out to 215hp with 245ft-lbs torque on the CVT) for 65.5k of that, and she's still going strong with no issues. Regular oil changes with quality oil (I exclusively use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20).

edit: did a quick glance at this thread, but it should give you good insight into what it takes to install fog lights. The trim level in the thread is an Si, but the process should be nearly identical, if not exactly the same: https://www.civic11forum.com/threads...k-switch.3727/

Here's one I found for heated seats. Again, trim in the thread is an Si, but should be a nearly identical process: https://www.civic11forum.com/threads...nt-seats.3448/
