one thing for guys with altezzas, if its cold where you are, and you are constantly using heat in your car, and if you have your back seats down, then they're gonna fog. so try to keep your back seats up.
I have that problem too, but only on the driver's side and only when the temp. drops below 45 or so. Its not enough to really bother me, but the hair dryer idea should work, you just have to force it out the same way it came in. Peace
Almost everyone has that problem with altezzas. they are cheap peices of crap. I have em though and i like them. To get rid of the fog, you can drive around with your headlights on and that will evaporate it. you dont need to ship them back, if you did, you would prolly get another defective pair. Just take them out and seal them up with silicone. I could actually see the gaps where the plastic didnt meet when I got mine. Just gotta do what ya can
Yup, a friend of mine has gone through two sets with his car. Condensation (bad) in both sets. Most altezza style tail lights are poorly manufactured. It's just a risk you take when buying them...
Have any of you guys had any experience with APC Altezza's? I'm wanting to get some, but I want to make sure they don't have that fogging problem. If they do, I guess I'm just gonna have to run to Home Depot and get some silicone so I can seal 'em before I install 'em.
i went through 2 sets of the APC altezzas,
and they suck sh*t because where the glass meets the plastic, it isn't sealed. if u have a pressure washer, you will fill them completly up with water. the only to stop this is to seal them
i would personally recommend not to get them, if they come defective, what else will mess up in the future
and when u put the silicone, u cant return them after just in case something happends
