After countless google searches it seems like all the 96-00 spoilers stay within the trunk Space and don’t overhang. The spoiler I took off a junk civic seems to be wider than all the others I’ve seen, it has civic stamped under the brake light so I’m assuming it’s legit. Is it possible it’s a replica or maybe it belongs to a different style of civic? Btw the brake light harness inside spoiler reads 12/28/00 as the date. Also I want to put the wing on my cleaner civic but only if it’s normal for it to be that wide. Thanks.

That looks like same spoiler I have on my '00 coupe. Just a different colour. They were a dealer installed option

looks like it fits just fine to me. The lines of the spoiler are supposed to "contour" to the curvature of the rear quarter panel. Not be like a 98 eclipse and aim towards the edge of the trunk lid

If you need to replace the led strip let me know, there's a company in California that makes them. I got mine from them
