06 civic terrible rear suspension?
06 civic terrible rear suspension?
I have had nothing but problems with my rear suspension. I get it aligned and then it seems that the tires are pitting again at my new rotation 5k miles later. I literally just drove from Logan, Utah to Austin, tx (1500 miles?) and just in that distance the alignment was off.
Anyone else have this problem? I know that the rear (tie bars?) were subject to a issue warning but not a recall.
When i take it to shops, they say 'well we can replace one part at a time and see if that does it' indicating that they have no real means to diagnose this problem.
Any help/ ideas/ commiseration?
Thanks,
Gregory Gibson

defective rear control arms. replace with updated honda part or aftermarket, otherwise you will go thru tires every year. its a very common problem on 06+ civics.

I'm going to guess that you have been going to chain service stores. Nobody should be telling you they will replace parts until the problem stops.
Find a REAL alignment shop that knows how to repair suspensions AFTER you check with Honda on the rear arm update.
