AC do not works, hot air from vents.
AC do not works, hot air from vents.
Hi All, this is my first post here.
I have an Honda Civic 2015.
The AC doesn't work, the vents blow hot air.
The gas in the AC circuit is fine, it could even be on the high pressure side.
I ran the self-diagnostic, the DTC doesn't report any error.
For the sensors got the follow:
sensorID item: value
1 mode positioning: 00%
2 In-car temperature: 40ºC (104ºF)
3 Outside air temperature: 28ºC (82.4ºF)
4 Solar radiation sensor value: 33
5 Evaporator outlet air temperature: 36ºC (96.8ºF)
6 Air mix opening: 00%
7 Recirculation control opening: 58%
8 Veicle speed: 00
9 Engine coolant temperature: 46ºC (114.8ºF)
A Vent temperature aiut our (TAO): E9 (-40 thru -49 ºC) (-40 thru -56 ºF)
B Humidity sensor value: 34%
C Software version: 02
Is there anything that looks suspicious? For sure the value for the sensor "A" (Vent temperature aiut our (TAO)) doesn't look right.
Is this indicating a broken sensor?
Thank you for any help with this.

Re: AC do not works, hot air from vents.
A follow up.
I had the chance to use an OBD monitor to run the diagnostic.
It reports P0533 code (A/C Pressure Sensor Voltage High) twice.
Checking the low pressure with a gauge it is well in the red area.
Tho I never refilled the refrigerant, I have this car since 2020 and the A/C has been working fine so far.
Is there any reason the refrigerant pressure can get high without refilling it?
Thanks for any hint.
