Air conditioning runs cool to warm to cool intermittently. What should be checked? What might be the problem?

well most cars have a cyclic a/c compressor that turns on and off every 10 seconds or so. if you park the car with the ac on you can hear it kick on and off because the radiator fans also get turned on. pretty much its normal. when the compressor kicks on, cold air blows. then when it turns off, warm air. its especially noticable in hot and humid weather. not much you can do because if the compressor ran non stop, the system would freeze and break. its possible the refrigerant charge is a tad low from factory, but then it wouldnt blow cold at all.
