2000 AC Condenser Replacement

Hi all,

I'm about to try and replace the condenser on my 2000 Civic and I'm hoping someone has had experience with this. I've already had a shop evacuate the system so I'm good to open it up. Do I need to take off the bumper to do this?

shouldn't have to, just remove the lines, fan connection, retention bracket on top and then just pull it out straight up

Thanks, so the fan should just tilt forward and I should be able to wiggle it out? Sounds pretty easy.

fan is attached to the condenser, they come out together. if you live in an area with rust, the screws holding the fan to the condenser will fight you. penetrating fluid and patience.
may need to replace the screws and the nuts
