Mine has only ever come on for the service intervals. Just wipe it and see what happens.

It's for the oil change, if you're not due for one just reset it and make sure to reset again when you get it changed

really, it's based on mileage (or is it mileage since it's been cleared.. idk). How many miles on your car?

edit: here's an online version of the owners manual. Pages 194-198 has mileage and maintenance items. Page 68 has the procedure to clear the maintenance light.
