2004 timing belt duration
2004 timing belt duration
so... 7 years or 105,000 miles? looking at 2004 Civic EX that had the timing belt (& head gasket & etc) done at a Honda dealer back in 2012 at 88k miles. It's now at 170k miles and been 7 years & 82k miles since it was done... change it now or when it hits 105k miles?

Re: 2004 timing belt duration
IIRC, it's time or mileage, whichever happens first. I'd change it for peace of mind.
