OEM or aftermarket TPMS sensors

I am getting new tires for my 2008 Honda Civic LX automatic transmission sedan, and I wanted to go ahead and buy four tpms sensors to have installed. Hopefully that will get rid of my "TPMS" light.

Does anyone recommend any aftermarket sensors or oem sensors? Thanks

Re: OEM or aftermarket TPMS sensors

The only time I've replaced sensors I used OEM, but from RockAuto as they were much cheaper.

Re: OEM or aftermarket TPMS sensors

I got a decent deal on tires at Walmart, so I'm going to have them install the new tires with new TPMS sensors. Walmart said they use Bartec sensors, but they don't have the sensors in stock currently. I was going to order the Bartec TPMS sensors myself, but I find them with rubber valves. My question is: if my current TPMS sensors have metal valves, can I replace them with new TPMS sensors that have rubber valves? I think I can, I just want to make sure. Thanks

Re: OEM or aftermarket TPMS sensors

I had my tires mounted and balanced yesterday at WalMart for $15 each, $60 total. I purchased Bartec Rite Sensors (they only came with rubber valve stems) on eBay, and WalMart installed them for free. The WalMart technicians said they use the exact same TPMS sensors, they just didn't have them in stock. I drove home yesterday from WalMart and the TPMS light is officially off! (for now haha)

I have a little bit of shaking around 60mph. I had it before the new tires, and it's a little better, but still there... I'm wondering if it's from the new CV axle I installed six months ago.

Was the axle you installed aftermarket?
