Weird vibration on h22a swapped civic
Weird vibration on h22a swapped civic
So I have a 2000 Honda Civic with the h22a euro R swap. I’ve been trying to chase a vibration/shake in the front end for some time now. I’ve had the tires balanced and rotated I’ve installed new tie rod ends both inner and outer cv axel upper and lower ball joints wheel bearings and upper control arm. I also went and had it realigned after. I’ve noticed when I go around a right hand curve or intermediate braking it subsides. Any other time it’s a very loud vibration that seems to come from the front right side. I just tried swapping the coil overs to see if it would carry over but it did not and I’m running out of ideas. Please help.

How long have the axles been in the car?
When did this problem begin?
Inner cv wobble due to an inboard joint being bottomed out?

Re: Weird vibration on h22a swapped civic
the cv axels only have about 100 miles on them. I changed them due to the vibration. It started right after I bought the car earlier this year and when I drove it home (roughly 70-80 miles) it started which oddly started 2 miles before I got to my house. Sense then I’ve put everything I’ve listed into it.
