I bought a 1994 civic that has been dynod at 340whp. Has a youtube video to prove it. Anyway it has a turbod h22a. Supposedly I've been told that the manifold it has now, is too close or something and heat soaks the engine? The turbo is shot(ebay) so I thought it may be time to get a new manifold too? He said some of them may not work aswell cause they will crash into front rad support? What should I do here? Obviously this can't be only H swapped turbo civic.
post a pic of the hood popped. We can gauge it a bit better seeing what we have to "work with"
Heat soaking is just metal parts retaining heat and transferring that to the intake air. Hotter air = less performance (but better fuel economy). Biggest reason for the intercooler, since turbochargers generate a lot of fckin heat.
