01 civic ex a/c not engaging need help

Need help. When pressing the a/c button the a/c light doesn't turn on. I’ve tested the compressor by jumping a relay under the hood and the clutch engages, also tested the relays and they all check out fine.
I’ve searched online and can't seem to figure out what the problem is someone help!

Check all related fuses. Also, could be a break in the wiring behind the climate control.

All fuses check out good, a break as in a wire cut? I’ll check that as soon as i get the chance.

not cut, but a point within an insulated wire that's causing poor connection. Could be loose or poor connecting harness clip/pins as well?
