Rep Power: 0 A/C System Flush
Greetings everyone,
I am in the process of replacing a compressor, condenser, receiver drier, and expansion valve but I need to flush the system due to the compressor failure. I bought a DeWalt 6 gallon air compressor for this job along with the flush solution and flush canister gun kit. I came across the video below which shows that the evaporator needs to be flushed at 90 PSI for 30 minutes to successfully remove all the contaminants that would cause the replacement compressor to fail. The compressor I bought will obviously not be able to sustain 90 PSI for 30 minutes straight. If I flush the evaporator and A/C lines with the DeWalt air compressor will this be enough to remove the contaminants or will I just be wasting my time? Would appreciate your opinions on the matter, thanks.
