AC and Heater blower motor intermittant 2002 Civic
No matter whether it is for AC or Heat, all the associated lights are on, but the fan does not come on sometimes. You start the car, the dial controlling fan speed beginning in the off position, then turned to the different speed positions either works or does nothing. If you park and try another day it will sometimes come on, and stay on until the car is parked and turned off. It just either works completely normally or not at all. Now this morning I started the car, no blower for heat, and I looked under the hood for anything suspicious. Not seeing anything and realizing it was probably something behind a panel or in a box (not visible), I dropped the hood, and the shock of it caused the fan to come to life! Yay, heat for the drive to work!
Ok, this seems like something that would be a good indicator of possible problems , so I am hoping someone can give me a clue. Thanks!
