need help with a no start condition. without any warnings i was unable to start the other day, no clicking of the starter, etc unable to drift start, and jump start also did not work. Fund out the battery was nine years old, so i replaced it, was without power for a couple hours so i think ECM reset. when i try to start i get nothing but random flashes on the dash and i hear a clicking sound coming from the glove box. mostly a Volvo driver, so i am at a loss as to where to start looking for the problem.

Thanks Colin42, but how does that jive with not being able to drift start? I know I had it rolling downhill 10-15 MPH popped the clutch and nothing
