96 honda not shifting
i have a 96 honda civic that when u first take off its fine but when u get it up and moving it acts like its in neutral and wont shift at all but when u shut it off and let it sit it will take off and **** just fine but then it will start all over again any thought

Fluid full?
Fluid doesn't look red anymore?
Internal strainer/filter is full of debris and starves the pump.
Shut the engine off, debris falls away from the filter and the trans works again when you start the engine....for a little while.
Time for a trans.
