Anyway to inspect/clean HVAC Evap?

Anyway to inspect/clean HVAC Evap?
With all the foam gasket pieces flying out of the A/C ducts of my ‘98 Civic, I would expect the interior A/C Evap to be clogged too. Any way to give it an inspection or cleaning with some coil cleaner?
