Degreasing 98 civic ex

Hi i have an old civic, 98 ex .. It has some oil leak near the covergasket, headgasket area.
I am trying to degrease it with the GUNK product. Is there any tips/ precautions i should take before applying it. I know to cover the alternater and distributor with a plastic bag before applying.

The covergasket/headgasket leak is minor and was wondering if i should buy new ones.

Head gasket leaks are not minor. Tappet gasket not as major but still should be fixed.

Re: Degreasing 98 civic ex

My mechanic said that it was minor, im not entirely sure if its the headgasket or covergasket, and ive been up and down from nyc to buffalo several times already which is a 400m trip one way.
