D16Y8 Dies After Starting
I've had this problem for a while now. I would have to crank and give it a little gas before starting, then hold the pedal at about 1,000 RPM to keep it running until it warms up and idles on its' own. I also have an issue where I get the car started then I push the gas all the way in and the RPMs go nowhere. I've been driving and the engine dies on me and I have to crank and give it gas to get it started again. It's just weird, I can get it started and sometimes I can bring the RPMs to redline sometimes it won't go past like 3k. I have tested and replaced a few different parts. I have a throttle cable on the way due to the current one being in pretty bad shape. I'm about ready to replace the throttle position sensor hoping that may be a fix. Just need a few opinions please and thank you.
