B18c4 ej9 swap no spark
Hi guys, i have a problem with the B18C4 swap on a non facelift ej9 from 1998.
So, everything is in place, but when I turn the key in the on (II) position, the check engine light turns on and stays on, it doesnt blink or anything. When I try to start the car, it cranks, but it has no spark. I have an obd2a engine loom on the b18, with a p30 ecu with a harness obd2a-obd1. Also the fuel pump is working (is priming for about 2 sec). I also hear a click when I turn the ignition on.
At first I thought i have a bad distributor, and i bought a brand new one and still nothing.
I managed to start the car a couple times 2-3 months ago, it was a problem at the harness, some wires were loose, but at some point it stoped, and never started again.
Can anyone give me some ideas on whats wrong?
I changed the ecu with a p28 that i know is working, but theres no difference.
I also chanded the ecu with a p5n (if I remember correctly) that is obd2a, so i didnt need the harness, and the only difference is that the cel blinks once when turning the key. But still no spark
