1999 Honda Civic DX manual Crank no Spark
I have a 1999 Civic DX, I bought it as crank no start condition. It had no spark when I tested it, so I got a new distributor and replaced it. It had gas, and air but it still had no spark So now I am here trying to find out what the problem could be.
I checked the Ignition 40amp fuse and it was good.
It does not have a check engine light, but sparkplugs and sparkplug wires are also good. so now I am just confused.

Try an oem distributor, these cars don't like aftermarket ones. If you still have your old one try replacing the coil and or the igniter. Use oem parts.

I got another distributor from a running 2000 DX and replaced it with mine and it still gets no spark, I think it's an ECU problem or a Cam and crank position sensors.
I also checked the timing and it was ok
