Hey all, new Honda owner here. I've got a 99 Civic EK Hatchback that I picked up last week. Have been having this issue where the Idle goes back and forth between 1100 and 2000 RPMs and during driving the car would lurch forward intermittently until enough throttle was applied. I had a code p1337 for the crankshaft sensor, I replaced it and found the old sensor wire had been chewed into by the alternator belt. I haven't driven the car yet to see if the hesitation/lurching problem has been fixed due to the sensor but the code hasn't come back after I reset ECU. The only lingering issue as far as I can tell is the idle surge. Already cleaned the IACV, maybe I should replace it completely? What do you all think?
