Loud ticking noise from engine
Lately I noticed this loud noise coming from my engine. I'm pretty sure it's not timing because I did it about 4-5k kilometers before... I have a feeling it's valve adjustment but I'm still not sure. Car topped up on oil, never ran without it. Engine is d14z2 and the year of the car is 2000.

Certainly wouldn't hurt to try. Valve adjustment is easy on them, it should take 30 minutes all-in to do.
