SE7ENZEROTWO is an unknown quantity at this point
d16y7 turbo, stock engine limits.

Right now, my project car is coming along, however I'm spending some serious monies in the process. (not serious compared to other cars, but you get the idea) and I'm thinking of increasing power in the near future.

However, I'm faced by some scenarios and i need some guidance on the matter. A d16y8 mini-me swap is $300 at minimum and thats only a 20hp increase. However a turbo kit is $600 for a cheapy one (provided I'll get a better quality turbo itself, but the kit in mind) and it can make good power. Would getting one of these and setting it to around 6-8psi be an alright idea instead of doing a mini me, heads, valves, springs, and a cam?

If I can secure some good help that can be bribed with beer, I might splurge on Vitara pistons and eagle rods and set it to about 12-16psi.

Also whats a good kit for valves, springs, etc for the cheap so I can increase my RPMs safely? Everything I'm finding is about $500 at minimum. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?

Thank you for the help. I'm still learning about this engine and the honda platform!

Turbo kits dont include engine management.

So add on another $500 to $2000 depending on what you use. And $300-$500 for tuning.
