Please help!

I recently bought a 99 civic and when i was driving it the other day it randomly started to sputter and it started jerking like crazy. Now when i start it, it idles really weird and if i try to bring up the RPM’s its all over the place. If i try to put it in first gear and let out of the clutch to accelerate it start sputtering and jerking like its gunna stall but never does. As soon as i push the clutch back in and let off the gas it'll coast just fine. But the idle is still weird. Please know im not the most mechanically inclined person and this has never happened to me before so please if you have any ideas let me know. Thanks.

Re: Please help!

If no CEL then its probably not sensor related.

other than timing

-fuel pressure should be checked

And

-spark at the plugs
