I'm planning to change the front exhaust pipe of my beater this week-end and I already bought all parts I need. I notice the gasket between the cat and the front pipe has one flat face and one round face.

I checked the service manual but it didn't say anything about the gasket orientation. I haven't dissembled the front pipe yet so I have no clue the orientation of the old gasket. Furthermore, the old gasket is probably rotted out, so It will be hard for me to figure its orientation. If you know the orientation of the gasket please share. thx.
