New (to me) 2000 Honda Civic EX - what is my engine code?
I just bought a 2000 Honda Civic EX. It is a 4 door. I don't know if the car has had a timing belt changed or not, and I plan on doing one this week as well as a few other things.
I am an Evo guy and I typically don't work on Hondas. Can anyone tell me which "series" engine this has? (The Letter, like "D" or whichever)
I think the car belonged to an old lady. From what I can tell all of the parts are stock =)

the engine code is stamped on the block of the engine, open the hood and look closely right underneath the valve cover on the upper left corner your gonna see some numbers on the block.
