I have a 2000 civic 5 spd D16Y7 that i bought about 2 weeks ago. It has a intermittent bucking/shudder. When it happens if you keep on the throttle it go's away but if you let off just a tad its like u let off all the way and the car starts slowing down . You cant maintain a speed when this happens. And when you hit the gas after letting off it slamms the tranny Especially going about 35 in 4th gear cruising it feels like your on a mechanical bull!!
