'98 EX No Spark
'98 EX No Spark
I replaced the head gasket on my '98 civic EX and I let it idle for a bit to burn the coolant out of the cylinders. Once there was no more white smoke I turned it off, took it off the lift, then after sitting for 2 days there's now no spark. I replaced the distributor cap & rotor, got a whole new distributor, wires, spark plugs, and made sure the grounds were fine and there's still no spark. The engine turns over, all the cabin electronics work, the fuel pump primes, there is a click after it's done priming, and the injectors fire. I also replaced the fuse in the engine bay for the distributor but nothing worked. Is it likely to be shorting somewhere or is this some sort of bad ground? This is beyond me at this point, I have no idea what could be wrong
