Question Wiring in an ELD (2000si b20b swap)

Hey I've recently got the code P1298 for Electric Load Detector High Voltage, however since my car (2000 civic si) didn't originally come with an ELD (Canadian model) I don't have one. Before I bought the car it was swapped with a 1998 b20b and ran off the original ECU, now that I have a 1998 b20b ECU the code comes up. I've been looking through the forums and online trying to figure out if this is because the 1998 b20b ECU I bought came from the USA would of had an ELD in the fuse box.
With that being said since I don't have an ELD in my fuse box but have a spot for it, would it make sense for me to go to the scrap yard and find an ELD fuse / take the harness for it and wire it in myself into the ECU? I have a slot for it on my "A" connector (#30) and would like to start getting rid of these codes that came with using the b20b ECU. Thanks for reading and please correct me if anything I said makes no sense or is wrong, the only experience I have with mechanics / wiring would be from my own googling / looking at the mess of a wiring job the previous owner did.

EDIT* Just got back from the scrap yard with a harness/ELD fuse from a CRV can't remember which year however fits the fuse box in my car. I'm gonna try to wire it into the ECU and see if it makes the code go away, wish me luck this will be my first experience with the electrical part of my car. Still looking for answers as well for my original question so feel free to tell me any helpful info! Thanks.

EDIT** so I don't know enough about wiring to start pulling apart my car therefore I won't be wiring in my ELD since its also my only car I use to get to work and around, with that being said I will update the post if I get it done in the future. My civic runs pretty good for now so I don't believe it will be an issue but I will report back if I experience any issues.
