Re: Brake pad recommendation
For just a daily?
I used the Wagner ThermoQuiet ceramic pads and their coated rotors on my girlfriend's 99, seem to work well and were reasonably priced

Re: Brake pad recommendation
I know this isn't the cheapest answer, but I used EBC YellowStuff on my civics. It seems to make for a shorter stop, and they are what I use on all my cars, so I am probably biased. But they do work great.
Re: Brake pad recommendation
I use OE pads and a platinum type rotor usually.
For the Pilot I recently went with EBC Green Stuff pads and rotors and am liking them so far.Quiet and they have a great initial bite when cold.

Re: Brake pad recommendation
when i had my 2005 i used Wagner thermo quiet pads with ATE rotors,
rotors.....

i found it was a good combo that worked well and lasted a long time,
never go cheap on rotors, you will regret it,
if you want to cheap out somewhere, cheap out on the pads and buy good rotors,
a god set of rotors should last an easy 3-4 sets of pads
