Has anyone else found that when you use your stock windshield wipers, that they smudge, and dont work well? I hope its not only mine!

Rep Power: 0 Don't forget to try and wipe them off from time to time...sometimes something gets gummed up on the blade and it wipers don't work as effectively afterwards...I'd try that before any replacing is needed...

Rep Power: 0 They need to be replaced at least every season. Just the difference in temperature are enough to ruin them. And yes, the stock wipers are budget...go with BOSCH. Pretty much how everything works on the CIVIC. You basically get a great engine and from there on in it's up to you to make the necessary improvements.

Rep Power: 0 When i first bought my car about a month and a half ago they didn't work too well, but after a few times of using them they started working fine. Also on a side note if you guys use Rain X or anything like that, they wear down your wipers! Keep that in mind

Rep Power: 363 I still have my OEM ones on and after 40,000 miles they still work like new. I also use Rain-X so I rarely use them in the rain.
My suggestion use Rain-X or some other brand, the rain just glides right off.

Rep Power: 0 Rain-X works great, you have to apply it a few times over few days for it to work great. Rain-X doesn't wear out your wipers faster, it accually makes them last longer. Less friction on the rubber blades gives them longer life.

Rep Power: 295 I have a problem with my wipers. When ever they are in the ones that it wipes then it stops for a second and wipe again. There is this sound kind of like a beep/tick sound comping from the dash right before the wipers starts. Its ok for short trips but when i'm driving for over 35 minutes on the highway the sounds gets really annoying. Any body know what it is?

Rep Power: 0 Its the relay for your delay wipers (telling them to sweep). Every car I have driven in has made a click noise right before the wipers sweep when on the intermittent setting. Its totally normal.

I have a older Cavalier and that car doesn't do that sound so loud. I mean you can hardly hear it if you put your ear close to the dashboard. I have also driven my fathers GMC Safari and the same there. But if it is normal on the Honda, Is there any thing i can do to make it not so loud?
