Question lock switch problem

2001 civic lx. just added keyless entry. locks work fine with fob. had to replace drivers door actuator to get it to work.
the problem I have is that the switch on the drivers door will lock the doors when pushed down but not unlock either door when pushed up.
I don't hear a solenoid click or the actuators even bump. already swapped with a spare switch and no difference. fuse 16 under hood is good.
where is the relay?

Re: lock switch problem

OE/stock Honda keyless, or aftermarket?

OE: functions are controlled by the MICU

Re: lock switch problem

stock keyless. but this problem occurs even when the keyless module is removed. though the locks work fine with the keyless fob just not with the switch. is there a relay somewhere. looking for broken wire is the last thing I will do. where is the micu?

Re: lock switch problem

There are no external relays for power locks.
MICU is built into the underdash fusebox.

Got any other odd electrical gremlins happening? Dome/courtesy lights, wipers, AC, door ajar/lights reminder beeper inop, BRAKE indicator stuck on?
