Wiper issue

When removing snow off windshield I moved my wipers up as they moved easily. Now I can’t get them back to the parked position and the switch won’t activate them. How can I get them back to working. My car is a 2010 Honda Civic with 130,000km

Re: Wiper issue

If the snow was heavy you may have broken something in the wiper transmission

Thanks for your reply. I didn’t turn them on until after I cleared the snow. I moved them as they moved easily, now they are in the fully extended wipe position and I can’t rotate them back to parked position, and controls don’t do anything. Guess I will have to open up a couple things of things and see if something is broken from moving them.

Re: Wiper issue

Probably easiest to just get another wiper motor and linkage from a junkyard for like $50
check fuses first though
