09 civic rear door will not open using inside or out handle

09 civic rear door will not open using inside or out handle
One min it was working fine and now neither handle works to open the door. I tried to get the inside handle off but since I don't know how it goes together I'm afraid to brake it. any ideas?

You're going to have to get the door panel off, you may damage it removing with the door closed but you can get another one at a junkyard for pretty cheap, or if you have a slim Jim or call a tow truck driver they may be able to pop it open, not sure though

Not sure on that modle but on the 7th gen you can remove the interior handle without removing the door skin. This let's you access the mechanical pull wire that opens the door.
if you're lucky the connection from the interior handle to the pull wire slipped/broke off, and you'll be able to open the door but pulling directly on the pull wire.
should take a Phillip's, a flat head and a beer to complete.
