Hi, my centre console has been broken since I bought the car, it is not even attached. I am having trouble figuring out what part / part's are actually missing / damaged. Happy to order replacement parts and DIY it, just not exactly sure what is broken from the original one and part lists show hundreds of tiny pieces that make up the assembly so it is difficult to tell. Any help would be appreciated! Just need a description of what is missing / broken + part numbers really
Go to a junkyard and you can probably get a whole console for around $20
Is it the top arm rest piece that needs replacing or the bottom part that it attaches to? Thats the part im unsure about, Im not exactly sure what needs replacing as I am not sure what part of it is broken. Happy to buy a replacement once I know what to get

Not sure, doesn't matter, just get the whole thing. Its not a common failure, yours is the first one I've seen broken like that. If you want, once you're at the junkyard, take one apart and then you can get just the broken pieces if you really want
