I just bought iPhone SE (3rd generation) and connected it with my 2013 Honda Civic coupe audio system. When I used google maps the first time, it played through the hands free link port. Yesterday while talking to someone on the phone, I muted google maps using the audio button on google maps. It stopped playing through the hands free link port after I unmuted it since.

I used to have iPhone 8 and it worked fine with google maps with hands free link port.

The only way I figured it how to make google maps play through hands free link port is to swipe up from iPhone and turn off blue tooth and turn it back on AFTER it's connected to the car audio system.

But when I turn on the car and the phone is connected then google maps does not work. I have to do the step above for it to work

Anyone has any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

Tired restarting the phone?
Tried resetting the car? (Disconnect the battery)

I tried resetting the hands free link already. No luck.

The weird thing is when I talk with someone using the car's hands free link then the GPS works. It speaks through the hands free link. When I hangs up then it stops talking through the hands free link
