I have owned the car for about 3 years.
Both driver side doors were replaced by the dealer that fixes mildly crashed cars.

The unlocking of the driver's door has become intermittent, as so many electronic problems can be.
it is unlocking probably less than 20% of the time.

The passenger door handle seems eager to unlock the car, in comparison.

I just renewed the fob's batteries a couple of months ago with fresh Duracell batteries.

Post-accident vehicles can be a pain to diagnose. The only real answer here is that it's a wiring issue. To what extent is impossible to determine without basically tearing the whole thing apart.

There is s garage nearby that rents space to work on your own vehicle. (it's cold outside).

I've been reading about replacing part of the actuator, as well as checking the wiring.

I expect Youtube to offer up some visual aids per normal.
