Radio swap question.

I have an 07 ex coupe with the “premium sound” radio. I am going to the junk yard to grab a new one, my question is: can I grab any “premium sound” radio or does it need to be from the same year? Does it matter if it’s a coupe or sedan? Thanks!

Re: Radio swap question.

I dont think coupe or sedan would make a difference, and i would try to grab as close to the same year as possible. Look on the back of yours and try to find a model number/part number to bring to the yard with you

Re: Radio swap question.

They only way yo know for sure is try it.. there seems to be several part numbers for them. Lke said above, match the part/model numbers.

There is a difference in the Premium Sound system and the non premium, Premium uses and external amplifier, and standard is internally amplified.

I'd grab the bezel as well as the radio.
