Hi everyone,

First time poster here, i have a Honda Civic 2010 FD that came with a hands free receiver built into the car.
Note; the car does not have bluetooth for music, besides the handsfree for calls.

Anyways the issue is, everytime i start up my car, the hands free takes over the whole audio, i can't listen to the radio or listen to anything besides the inbuilt mic picking up everything i do in my car. It seems the mic is on 24/7 now and it thinks a call is happening.
I am not connected to the hands free on any phone at all.

Any help is appreciated, because it's incredibly annoying and it happened out of nowhere.

I would think whatever button you press to activate the microphone is faulty. Try disconnecting the button and see what happens

I've tried every button, and nothing turns it off.

It automatically turns on and activates upon starting up the car

So again...

You're going to have to take stuff apart to test things. If you're not willing to do this pay someone who is.
