Where is USB?
Where is USB?
My girlfriend purchased a 2011 Civic sedan from Enterprise car rental a few years ago. Everything is great on this little vehicle. In the owners manual it shows a USB connector in the center console. There isn't one there. What happened? If it is actually no where to be found, can I add one? She is really interested in putting in a flash drive containing MP3s like I have in my Chevy.
Re: Where is USB?
I think its an EX option.
Edit, I misspoke, went into the '08 EX Cpe. today and I was wrong, though it had a usb for recharging the phone but there is no USB in the '08.. onlu Aux input and (2) 12v cigarette power outlets.

Re: Where is USB?
you will need to remove the center console and see if there is any wiring in there.
no idea why it is not there. Id there any holes where it was supposed to be?

Re: Where is USB?
Its not very useful anyhow.. Honda is behind the times when it comes to providing the technology we all like and use.
I had a 2012 w/bluetooth and used a MP3 player and/or an iPod, but you have to control it with it's own menu system.
The Wifes 2020 Accord has USB Port which I tried to use a few weeks ago on a trip.
Created a USB 32gb, with songs.. insert, select Aux/USB.. it plays, you have skip forwarad a trac, back a track, it does display meta data influding album art in a small square if you have a file named "folder.jpg" in the folder (maybe if it's imbedded in meta data did not try", but no folder/file selection always plays in the order songs were put on the USB drive.
The 2020 doe shave bluetooth ad Apple & Andriod car play, but you can;t use it through bluetooth you have to use your cable..
