Keyfob only unlocks, does not lock or open trunk.

Keyfob only unlocks, does not lock or open trunk.
My girlfriend drives a 2015 LX, I had changed the battery on her keyfob about 6 months ago, but a few days ago the keyfob no longer locked/unlocked the car.
After changing the battery with a 1620 pack that I've kept around the house for some time, I noticed that the keyfob holds a long red light, then stops.
What it'll do is unlock the car, by pressing the lock button, but will not lock. Holding the trunk button, or the panic button, does nothing.
Could it be an issue with the PCB? An issue with the receiver? Or is the entire key just junk now?
