Unhappy Need aux help

I’ve looked everywhere and cannot find a fix to my problem and want to see if it’s something I can fix before taking it to the shop. I have an ‘06 civic coupe with an aux port and a bass boost. I’ve never had a problem until now when a couple of days ago the stereo sound would cut in and out as I was driving when I had music playing from the aux. I have a Bluetooth adapter that I use in the aux but I have tried switch to a new cord directly to my phone to see if that help but no luck. The sound cuts out mainly on bumps and will sometimes come back if I hit right above the center console. I thought it could’ve been the circuit board on the aux port so I ordered a new one and replaced it myself but still only subs with the occasional echoey stereo sound. The problem does not happen when I have regular Fm or Am on, the speakers work perfectly fine on that scenario. I have open up the center console to try and see if I saw any frayed wires but I didn’t see anything. Someone please tell me they have had this problem and know a fix bc I need my aux!

Re: Need aux help

Sounds like a bad car aux connection. Mine went bad on my Fit.

Re: Need aux help

Best thing to do is remove all covers and pull the radio out a bit. Play some music and start moving stuff around until the problem happens and you can maybe pinpoint it. Could be the cable from the assembly to the radio.
