airbag codes So I did the diagnosis. I have code 51 and code 42. How do you find out what they are? 8th gen Civic coupe. Tried resetting the light, that didnt work. checked a bunch of connections too. I'm lost. Is there a way to physically check the pre tensioner ?

Assuming the flash codes are halfway accurate,
Code 42 should be dealing with the right front impact sensor........could be wiring, rodents eat wires and they are a common problem in my area
Code 51.....erase memory after you fix the other code, then see if this code comes back immediately
