I have a Honda Civic Coupe EX 2007. My passenger airbag indicator light is on and it stays on. Whenever a person sits in the passenger seat, it turns off which means the airbag is active to deploy if needed. However, whenever I’m sitting in the drivers seat the indicator light comes on saying the passenger airbag is off. I have a feeling it might be the weight sensor that maybe be malfunctioning as the car is old. Sometimes when I reposition the seats, the indicator works fine but not always. (My car is a coupe so repositioning the seats happens very often) Any ideas/solutions on how to fix this issue?
