First of all I bought my 2002 dx coupe used with 7,000 on the clock. A few months ago i went over a trench looking pothole from construction and bottomed out pretty badly. Then I started to notice the car was making noises when it turned so i took it to honda because it was still under warantee....and they said they'd have to order the parts. Now, they are Macpherson struts right? HOW THE HELL DOES IT TAKE 2 MONTHS TO ORDER MACPHERSON STRUTS???? It turns out they both needed to get replaced....I had to take my car in like 3 times before they were fixed. What crap. Sorry for the ranting

It took 2 months cuz those struts are on back order. Lots of people have had blown struts. The strut problem is so widespread, Honda really should have an official recall on this.

Yea they should. Mine have been replaced twice already.

Yep, mine were just replaced also. Took over a month for them to come in.

I've had no problems with my struts. I've got 17433 on my clock. It's an 02 Lx.
